Our History of Strengthening Black Families
The Black community has always taken care of its children. Families have been joined together by blood and by love. Informal family networks have been a safety net for over a million children for generations and still exists today. However, the plight of black children in foster care is the reason we exist. Another Choice for Black Children is a licensed child placing agency in North Carolina. The agency is accredited through the Council on Accreditation. We focus on recruiting foster and adoptive homes for African-American and other children of color in the child welfare system.
Hope comes to life for children and families because they have ANOTHER CHOICE!
